Privacy Policy

PackAnvil ("the Service") collects the following information:

• Discord authentication data: Discord ID, username, avatar URL, and email address, obtained through Discord OAuth.
• User-generated content: configuration of texture packs you create and publish on the Service, uploaded images and audio, titles, descriptions, and tags.
• Access logs: access timestamps, IP addresses, and browser information — retained as Vercel and Supabase system logs.
• Pack download logs: when a published pack is downloaded as a .mcpack, the IP address and User-Agent are SHA256-hashed (with a server-side salt) and recorded together with a device category (mobile / tablet / desktop) and abbreviated browser information (e.g. "Chrome 120 / Windows"). Raw IP and UA values are not stored, and individuals cannot be identified. These logs are automatically deleted after 90 days. They can only be viewed by service administrators.
• Local settings: temporary in-progress editor data stored in your browser's IndexedDB / localStorage. This data is not transmitted to the server.

• Operating the Service (saving packs, displaying the gallery, login functionality)
• Detecting and responding to abuse or copyright infringement
• Improving the Service (analysis of anonymous aggregate data)
• Sending important service announcements

We do not disclose personal information to third parties except in the following cases:

• When the data subject has consented
• When required by law or by a valid legal request
• When sharing with service providers necessary for operating the Service (cloud services such as Vercel and Supabase)

Data for the Service is stored using the following service providers:

• Vercel Inc. (United States) — hosting and server logs
• Supabase Inc. (United States; database hosted in the Tokyo region) — authentication, database, and file storage
• Discord Inc. (United States) — OAuth authentication

If you wish to delete your account, contact us via the operator's Discord or the in-service Feedback form. Your publicly published packs will be deleted together with the account (except for information we are required by law to retain).

The Service uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

• Session management (maintaining login state)
• Anonymous access analytics for service improvement
• If advertising services such as Google AdSense are introduced in the future, cookies may be used for ad delivery. Details will be announced on this page at the time of introduction.

Account registration on the Service (Discord-linked login) is intended for users aged 13 and over. This reflects Discord's own policy of requiring users to be at least 13 years old.

Browsing the gallery or using the builder (downloading .mcpack files, etc.) without logging in does not involve collecting personal information, and is therefore not age-restricted.

If we discover that a user under the age of 13 has logged in to the Service using a misrepresented Discord account, we will delete the account. Parents and guardians may contact us via the in-service "💬 Feedback" form.

This policy may be changed without prior notice. Material changes will be announced on the Service.
