Credits / Asset Sources

1. User-Uploaded Assets

Textures, sounds, and other content uploaded by users themselves are licensed by those users. At upload time, users confirm that they hold the necessary license, as set out in the Terms of Service.

2. Original Assets

Some texture presets (such as HD sword variants) are original assets created by the PackAnvil author. Commercial-use generative tools may be used as part of the workflow, and outputs are reviewed for commercial-redistribution rights before being included.

3. CC0 / Public-Domain Assets

Sound effect presets (hit / eating sounds, etc.) are derived from assets distributed under the CC0 license on sources such as Freesound. Per-file source, author, and license information is recorded in public/builtin/sounds/NOTICE.md within the repository.

4. Baselines for Bedrock Compatibility

For HUD and UI images such as icons.png, gui.png, and particles.png, certain pixel baselines are embedded in code to ensure compatibility with the Bedrock resource pack specification.

Only the regions you customize through PackAnvil are overwritten; non-customized regions (lock icons, progress bars, the boss bar, etc.) are implemented to remain compatible with Bedrock defaults. These baselines are handled in the spirit of Mojang's Usage Guidelines.

If Mojang / Microsoft or any third-party asset author would like to request removal, please contact us via the DMCA form or the "💬 Feedback" form. We respond within 1–7 business days.

5. Relationship with Mojang / Microsoft

PackAnvil is an unofficial third-party tool developed by an individual; it has no affiliation with Mojang AB or Microsoft Corporation. Names and trademarks such as Minecraft, Mojang, and Bedrock belong to their respective owners. Mojang and Microsoft bear no responsibility for any issues arising from use of the Service.

6. Removal Requests

We respond in good faith to removal or modification requests from rights holders concerning the asset sources listed on this page. The procedure is set out on the DMCA / Copyright Infringement Notice page.
